The University of York Opera Society is new for 2007 and its aim is to get more people involved with opera. For autumn term 2006 we will be recruiting for and putting on fully staged extracts from the Marriage of Figaro in the centre of York. We will also have a trip to see an opera by Opera North in Leeds.
Your Committee:
As the society is new the committee at the moment is very small, but as you all join we will be recruiting people for Social Secretaries, Press and Publicity and lots of other fun jobs, but for now it's just us three!
